  Despite that Al Maaref University is a newly established higher education institution in Lebanon. Professor George Zaki El Hage

University professor and researcher. Poet, critique and painter. Earned his Bachelor degree in Arabic Language and Literature from the Lebanese University, while his Master and Doctorate from Saint Joseph University.

Worked in journalism and has more than 30 years of academic experience in higher education. Participated in more than 30 scientific conferences in Lebanon and the Arab region. Has more than 100 research articles and books in the area of literary critique and poetry, politics, social studies and cultural areas.

He is a member of more than ten associations that deal with culture and education and earned many medals and commendations.
